Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Customer Service
  • Assign sales workers to duties, ensuring optimal customer service and sales performance.

  • Staff Management
  • Hire, train, or arrange for training of staff members, promoting a positive and productive work environment.

  • Merchandise and Inventory
  • Authorize payments by cheque, order merchandise, and oversee the return of merchandise as needed.

  • Reporting and Analysis
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing valuable insights for business growth.

  • Store Operations
  • Establish work schedules, manage cash, oversee payroll administration, and conduct performance reviews to ensure seamless store operations.

  • Supervision and Teamwork
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of 3-4 employees, promoting teamwork and effective communication.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience
  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in retail management.

  • Personal Qualities
  • A team player with excellent multitasking skills, able to work under pressure and maintain a high level of physical fitness due to extended standing periods.

  • $35,000 - $45,000 per year, based on location and experience.
