Project Associate Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Project Associate to join our growing Restoration team at Edison Engineers.

As a Restoration Project Associate, you will be responsible for site reviews and assessments, various restoration reports, construction oversight, and client & contractor communication.

You will work closely with senior engineers, project managers, and site contractors to ensure our clients' restoration projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting site inspections and investigations to assess building conditions and identify areas of concern
  • Performing structural analysis and design of repair and restoration solutions
  • Preparing technical reports and project specifications
  • Collaborating with team members, clients, and contractors to develop project plans and schedules
  • Ensuring projects are completed on-time, within budget, and in compliance with applicable codes and regulations
  • Providing technical support during construction and performing field observations to ensure quality control
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Solid technical knowledge in structural analysis and design
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software
  • Experience in building repair and restoration engineering an asset
