About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Shivas Dosa Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality, service, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management
    • Analyze and manage the restaurant's budget to ensure profitability and efficiency.
    • Develop and implement cost-saving measures to reduce expenses and improve margins.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including food preparation, service, and customer satisfaction.
    • Ensure that all staff are trained and equipped to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Staff Management
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of staff.
    • Manage staff performance, including conducting regular performance reviews and providing feedback.
  • Marketing and Sales
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
    • Work with the sales team to drive revenue growth and increase sales.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that the restaurant meets all health and safety regulations and standards.
    • Develop and implement procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College or CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as hospitality or business.
  • Experience
    • At least 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and management skills.
    • Strong financial management and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
