About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at SHIVAS DOSA RESTAURANT. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality, service, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Analyze and manage the restaurant's budget to optimize profits, develop and implement cost-saving measures, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of staff members, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff, to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, beverages, and supplies, ensuring that we maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service, responding promptly to complaints and concerns, and taking steps to resolve issues.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Participate in marketing and promotional activities to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that the restaurant maintains a safe and healthy environment for customers and staff, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Technology and Systems: Manage and maintain our point-of-sale system, accounting software, and other technology systems to ensure efficient operations and accurate financial reporting.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, and strong attention to detail.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in accounting software, point-of-sale systems, and other relevant technology systems.
