Hotel Front Desk Associate

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Nimpo Lake Resort. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing room assignments, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:- Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
- Process group arrivals and departures, taking into account special requests and preferences.
- Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Provide guests with information on hotel facilities and services, including dining options, recreational activities, and local attractions.
- Assist guests with special needs, such as mobility or accessibility requirements.
- Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments to ensure accurate and efficient room management.
- Follow emergency and safety procedures, including responding to guest incidents and reporting any issues to management.
- Clerical duties, such as faxing, filing, and photocopying, as required.
- Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff, ensuring prompt and courteous communication.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional guest service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and staff.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in hotel management software.
