Job Summary

This role is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to drive sales growth and revenue generation for Gerdau S.A.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain rapport with customers through face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and other communication channels.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Manage customer needs from end-to-end, including quoting, negotiating pricing and volume, and resolving customer complaints.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as Sales Manager, Inside Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing, to ensure seamless customer service and product availability.
  • Establish and maintain accurate forecasts for sales volume and revenue.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of sales experience in the steel industry or related field.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, customer relationship management, and business development.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the steel industry, metals manufacturing, or commodities related to the steel industry.
  • Education in business, sales and marketing, engineering, or material sciences.
Work Environment

This role requires frequent travel to customer sites, trade shows, and industry meetings.
