Ready Mix Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Ready Mix Driver to join our team at Lafarge. As a Ready Mix Driver, you will be responsible for delivering Ready Mix Concrete to job sites, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring timely and safe deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a commercial vehicle to transport Ready Mix Concrete to job sites
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
- Adhere to all Lafarge safety and environmental policies and procedures
- Maintain equipment and perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and internal teams
- Work collaboratively with logistics and operations teams to ensure efficient deliveries
- Ability to navigate around the City of Winnipeg and surrounding areas
- Perform tasks on electronic devices, such as tablets and GPS
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- A minimum of 1 year of related experience
- Class 3Q (Air Brakes) or Class 1Q driver's license
- Understanding of building materials industry and product knowledge
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
