Job Summary

As a Ready Mix Driver for Holcim, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality ready mix concrete to our customers in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires strong customer service skills, a focus on safety, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver ready mix concrete to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with customers.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed and report any incidents or near-misses to management.
  • Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections on equipment and report any issues to maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all equipment is properly secured.
  • Collaborate with the logistics and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery operations.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, quality, and customer service.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1 year of related experience, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Class 3Q (Air Brakes) or Class 1Q driver's license.
  • Ability to lift over 50 pounds.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
