About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Italian Chef to join our team at Frankie's Italian Kitchen & Bar Winnipeg Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as supervising kitchen staff and helpers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that showcase our Italian cuisine, ensuring high-quality dishes that meet our customers' expectations.
  • Kitchen Management: Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring efficient and safe food preparation and service.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that our kitchen is well-stocked and organized.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate kitchen staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
