Retail Store Supervisor

My Convenience Store is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our store, including supervising sales floor staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales floor staff, including cashiers, retail salespersons, and sales clerks.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving merchandise, and maintaining accurate records.
- Authorize payments by cheque and resolve customer complaints and issues.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Organize and maintain a clean and safe store environment.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail management role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Fast-paced environment with frequent customer interactions.
- Standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Client focus and excellent communication skills.
- Reliability and ability to work as part of a team.
- English is the primary language of communication in this role.
