Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at J S Convenience Store. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are properly trained and equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Authorize payments by cheque and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Authorize the return of merchandise and ensure that all returns are processed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Sell merchandise and ensure that all sales are accurately recorded and reported.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters and present them to management.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory and ensure that all stock is accurately counted and recorded.
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of cashiers, retail salespersons, and sales clerks.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
J S Convenience Store is a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods and lift heavy objects. You will also be required to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
