Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Shift Manager to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our restaurant, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer demands.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide coaching and feedback to help them improve their performance.
  • Ensure Quality and Safety: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and that safety standards and departmental policies are met.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
