About the Role

The Chief Systems Engineer will lead the technical direction of the Integrated Communications Systems portfolio, ensuring delivery of high-quality engineering content while meeting cost and schedule targets. This role requires strategic technical leadership, establishing and directing all aspects of the business unit engineering policies, objectives, and initiatives based on long-term product and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to ensure technical, cost, and schedule execution of the Engineering content of the programs.
- Manage multiple customer requirements (cost, schedule, technical capabilities) while using analytical and strategic skills to guide the engineering team to successful program deliveries of customer needs.
- Work collaboratively across organizational boundaries to ensure programs are smoothly transitioned to production and deployment phases.

Requirements

- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent; A Master's degree in Engineering or a Master's of Business Administration is an asset.
- 15 years of applicable experience in a product development role; With 10 years experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Experience leading large engineering organizations.
- Must hold an active Security Clearance.
