We are seeking an exceptional Chief Technology Officer to lead our engineering team in Ottawa. As a key member of our executive management team, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of our strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities- Align engineering activities with company goals and strategic direction
- Provide overall leadership in engineering to achieve corporate milestones
- Lead a multi-disciplined product development team, including organizational planning, recruiting, and career development
- Oversee outsourced suppliers and manage international teams
- Collaborate with the CEO, CTO, and Product Management to define and execute the product roadmap
The ideal candidate will possess a breadth of varied and progressive experience in product and system development, spanning over a decade. They should have:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- 15 years of experience in large-scale systems design and development, including success in a similar level role
- Entrepreneurial experience scaling a company from $25M to $100M
- An appreciation for working within an early-stage environment and exhibiting an entrepreneurial mindset
- Experience in international markets, system integration, manufacturing, and project management
- Competitive base salary: $250,000 - $300,000 per annum
- Variable bonus structure
- Benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off
