Security Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team at Defender Security Group Ltd.
Job SummaryThe Security Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our security team, ensuring the smooth execution of security protocols, and providing guidance and support to our security personnel.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule Work: Plan and coordinate the work schedules of our security team to ensure adequate coverage and effective use of resources.
- Co-ordinate Activities: Collaborate with other departments and work units to ensure seamless integration and effective communication.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper functioning of computer equipment and machinery, and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular progress reports to management, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
- Supply Chain Management: Requisition and order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies to support our security operations.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve work-related problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to enhance productivity and quality.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of our security personnel, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Training and Development: Train and develop our security staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Work Schedules and Procedures: Establish and maintain effective work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
The Security Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 security personnel.
Certifications and LicensesThe ideal candidate will hold a CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and Security Guard License.
Security and SafetyThe Security Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment, including conducting criminal record checks as required.
Work Conditions and Physical CapabilitiesThe Security Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The position involves standing for extended periods and working under pressure.
Personal SuitabilityWe are looking for a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, and a strong work ethic.
This is a permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week. The work language is English.
