Job Summary

The Security Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our security team, ensuring the smooth execution of security protocols, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule Work: Plan and coordinate the work schedules of security personnel to ensure adequate coverage and minimize overtime.
  • Coordinate Activities: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and effective problem-solving.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper functioning of computer equipment and machinery, and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular progress reports to management, highlighting areas of success and areas for improvement.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition and order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain a well-stocked and efficient security operation.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve work-related problems, provide technical guidance, and recommend process improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of security personnel, providing guidance and feedback as needed.
  • Training and Development: Train security personnel in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure a high level of competence and compliance.
  • Work Schedules and Procedures: Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient and effective security operations.
Supervision

The Security Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 security personnel.

Certifications and Licenses
  • CPR Certificate: Possession of a valid CPR certificate is required.
  • First Aid Certificate: Possession of a valid First Aid certificate is required.
  • Security Guard License: Possession of a valid Security Guard license is required.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Environment: The Security Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interactions with security personnel, management, and clients.
  • Physical Demands: The Security Supervisor will be required to stand for extended periods, work in a combination of sitting and standing, and work under pressure to meet deadlines and resolve issues.

  • Client Focus: The Security Supervisor must be able to provide excellent customer service and maintain a client-focused attitude.
  • Interpersonal Skills: The Security Supervisor must possess excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with security personnel, management, and clients.

  • Organized: The Security Supervisor must be highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Reliability: The Security Supervisor must be reliable and able to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
  • Team Player: The Security Supervisor must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with security personnel, management, and clients.
