Job Summary:

The Manitoba Government is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Manitoba Land Surveyor. This role is responsible for the management and operation of a Section for the delivery of the Survey Services Program and Land Survey System Program in the northwest portion of the province.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide high-level technical and legal survey expertise within the bylaws of Association of Manitoba Land Surveyors (AMLS) for the province of Manitoba.
- Manage and operate a Section for the delivery of the Survey Services Program and Land Survey System Program in the northwest portion of the province.

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Science Degree in Surveying Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience of field operations with the ability to support legal surveys.
- Knowledge of Occupational, Safety, Health & Risk Management policies and procedures.

- The position requires extensive interaction and co-operation from various stakeholders, including Crown Lands, Manitoba Hydro, Transportation and Infrastructure, Parks and Protected Spaces, Mining Oil and Gas, Education, First Nations, and Natural Resources Canada.
