Job Title: Tour Guide Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Tour Guide Supervisor to join our team at Discover Banff Tours Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Tour Guide Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the activities of our tour guides, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and have a memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient tour operations
  • Perform same duties as workers supervised to maintain a hands-on approach
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on tour operations and guide performance
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs to ensure their comfort and satisfaction
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure high-quality tour experiences
  • Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
  • Requisition materials and supplies to ensure smooth tour operations
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift light weights
