About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Penske Truck Leasing. As a key member of our logistics and supply chain team, you will be responsible for leading our warehouse operations and ensuring that we meet or exceed our customer key performance metrics and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead a team of warehouse associates to achieve operational excellence and meet customer expectations.
    • Develop and execute annual financial and operating plans to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Establish and sustain effective processes and procedures to ensure efficient and safe warehouse operations.
    • Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement to reduce costs and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Focus
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and expectations.
    • Collaborate with customers to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage the financial performance of the warehouse, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
    • Develop and execute financial plans to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Safety and Compliance
    • Lead a culture of safety and compliance within the warehouse.
    • Develop and implement safety and compliance programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement to drive business growth and profitability.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share best practices and improve processes.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 4-6 years of related functional experience in logistics and supply chain management.
    • 3+ years of managerial or supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
