About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at Boeing Trucking Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, and ensuring the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Logistics Coordination: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management on logistics operations, including metrics on efficiency and productivity.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train, and conduct performance reviews for staff under your supervision.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, and requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Operational Planning: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including establishing work schedules and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in logistics or a related field.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Windows.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and work under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, flexible, initiative-driven, organized, reliable, and a team player.
