About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at Manoir Caledonia. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Bakery Operations: Bake mixed dough and batters, and ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Special Orders: Prepare special orders, including cakes and baked goods, to meet customer requirements.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Machinery Operation: Operate machinery, including mixers and ovens, to prepare and bake goods.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent customer service.
