Job Summary:

Giant Tiger is seeking a highly skilled and experienced AZ Driver to join our team as a key member of our transportation operations. As an AZ Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting merchandise from our distribution center to our stores across Ontario and Quebec.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a commercial vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Transport merchandise from our distribution center to our stores, ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve driving skills and knowledge of transportation operations.

Requirements:

  • Valid AZ license with a clean abstract.
  • At least two years of experience as an AZ driver.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation functions and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
