Waste Connections of Canada Inc. is seeking a skilled Garbage Truck Driver to join our team in Brockville, ONT.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a garbage truck, ensuring safe and efficient collection of waste, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a garbage truck to collect waste from designated areas
  • Ensure safe and efficient collection of waste, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the truck and surrounding areas
  • Complete accurate vehicle condition reports and other administrative tasks as required
  • Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

  • Commercial drivers' license (Class 3 or higher) with air-brake endorsement
  • Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience
  • Roll-Off and/or Front-End Loader experience preferred
  • Excellent spatial skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work independently
