About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Standards Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the development of environmental standards related to climate change, recycling, circularity, and ESG. This role involves managing multiple committees, recruiting members, preparing meeting agendas and minutes, and drafting standards within identified project timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Committee Management: Manage the development of technical content, provide ongoing project management leadership, and coordinate with committee members, Chairs, and Vice-Chairs.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, develop proposals, and secure funding for new standards and training programs.
  • Resource Management: Determine and manage resources required to complete projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery of high-quality documents.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with other departments to ensure effective standard development and publication, and promote best practices within the company.

Requirements:

  • Education: Technologist or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Circular Economy, GHG Management, Climate Change, Business or Environmental Management Systems).
  • Experience: 3-5 years in an environment-related field, with knowledge of standards development, government policy, industry landscape, and funding programs.
  • Skills: Strong research and analytical skills, self-motivation, and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

Compensation: We offer a competitive salary of $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
