Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse (RN/RPN/LPN) to join our multidisciplinary team at Coast Mental Health. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality care to individuals with mental health challenges, working collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to promote recovery and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric and nursing care to clients, including assessment, treatment planning, and crisis intervention.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure the highest level of care and support.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, families, and community resources to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based treatments.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved school of Nursing with current practicing membership with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • At least three years of recent related experience in mental health and addiction, either in a hospital or community setting.
  • Ability to provide/obtain the following upon hire: A valid First Aid Certificate, a valid Class 5 B.C. Driver's License, and access to a vehicle, Tuberculosis Clearance.
