Job Summary

Coast Mental Health is seeking a skilled Nurse (RN/RPN/LPN) to join our team in providing high-quality care to individuals with mental illness. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work under the supervision of the Program Director to provide a range of psychiatric and nursing functions, including assessment, pharmacotherapy, and crisis intervention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide client-centered care in a trauma-informed, recovery-focused model
  • Assess and develop care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Deliver direct care, including medication management and crisis intervention
  • Collaborate with community resources and health services to support client needs
  • Participate in team meetings and share information on client progress and care plans
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved school of Nursing with current practicing membership with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
  • At least three years of recent related experience in mental health and addiction, either in a hospital or community setting
  • Ability to provide/obtain a valid First Aid Certificate, Class 5 B.C. Driver's License, and Tuberculosis Clearance
