We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at Humanness Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes are presented to a high standard.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, taking into account their specific needs and requirements.
- Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained, and that all equipment is in good working order.
- Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, ensuring that they are clean and well-maintained at all times.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support as needed.
As a Culinary Professional at Humanness Inc, you will work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
- Physical Demands: The role requires standing for extended periods, and working in a physically demanding environment.
- Work Conditions: The role requires attention to detail, fast-paced environment, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
