Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Culinary Professional to join our kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, including special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Staff Training and Supervision: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Cleaning and Organization: Clean kitchen and work areas, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
- Availability: Availability to work a 35-hour week.
- Free Parking: Free parking available for employees.
- Permanent Position: This is a permanent position with Royal Spice Inc.
- English Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
