Job Title: Staff Android Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Android Engineer to join our team at Reddit. As a Staff Android Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development of our Android client features, working closely with product managers and designers to craft compelling user experiences, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and growth.

About the Role:
  • Design, build, and ship Android client features for users to monetize their contributions on Reddit.

  • Lead the development of our Android client features, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
  • Contribute to the product and business strategy, providing technical expertise and guidance.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of mobile development experience with multiple parts of the Android stack.
  • Experience with Kotlin and Android development.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to mentor engineers and lead cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences.
