About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Android Software Engineer to join our team at Warner Music Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality Android applications that meet the needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Leadership: Own and drive the technical vision for key Android systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and scalability.
  • Software Development: Design, develop, and deliver clean, optimized, and reusable Android code, following established standards and best practices.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with designers, developers, and product managers to create seamless, robust, and innovative applications that meet the needs of our business.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Android application development and introduce new technologies and best practices to the team.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and grow more junior mobile engineers, helping them to develop their skills and expertise.
About You:

We are looking for a highly skilled Android Software Engineer with a strong background in building high-performance Android applications. You should have a deep understanding of Kotlin, experience with animation frameworks, and a strong understanding of Google's design principles and interface guidelines.

  • 5+ years of experience: You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in building high-performance Android applications.
  • Technical Expertise: You have a deep understanding of Kotlin, experience with animation frameworks, and a strong understanding of Google's design principles and interface guidelines.
  • Collaboration: You have excellent collaboration skills and are able to work effectively with designers, developers, and product managers.
  • Communication: You have excellent communication skills and are able to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Education: You have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
