Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at ManagePoint Technologies. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to our clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to clients and internal teams, resolving IT issues and escalating complex problems as needed.
  • IT Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, and maintain PCs, peripheral devices, and other IT infrastructure components.
  • Network and System Administration: Manage and maintain Windows, Linux, and Mac OS systems, as well as network infrastructure, including routers, firewalls, and switches.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure the security and integrity of our IT systems and data, implementing encryption and multi-factor authentication as needed.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and support, responding to client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, and 2+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management and technical support.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and Mac OS, as well as network protocols, security measures, and customer service principles.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CCNA or CCNP certification
  • Experience with VMware and virtualization
  • Knowledge of database management and scripting
  • Project management fundamentals
  • Background in event management
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Familiarity with additional server roles, such as DNS, DHCP, and File & Print Server
  • Strong understanding of networks, including wired and wireless
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams

  • Ability to legally work in Canada
  • Able to provide a clear background/judicial check

  • 1st Co-Op - $19/hr
  • 2nd Co-Op - $20/hr
  • 3rd Co-Op - $22/hr
