Role Responsibilities

We are seeking a Claims Analyst II to enhance our expanding team.

As a Claims Analyst II, your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough audits of appraisals performed within the Ontario Auto Appraisal Unit. Your extensive experience in appraisal management will empower you to identify opportunities for enhancing customer satisfaction, boosting employee engagement, and driving overall process improvements.

Key Duties Include:

  • Performing monthly audits on various auto appraisal types in Ontario, ensuring compliance with established best practices.
  • Providing ongoing feedback to the management team regarding employee performance, emphasizing both achievements and areas for development.
  • Recognizing departmental trends and determining training needs, reporting findings to management and training personnel.
  • Analyzing completed reviews to identify trends and offering constructive feedback to management to facilitate process enhancements.
  • Engaging in additional initiatives as required.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in auto appraisal management or a relevant combination of education and experience.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to identify issues, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • High level of personal integrity with a proven ability to cultivate trust-based relationships.
  • Demonstrated experience in guiding teams through uncertain situations, showcasing adaptability and agility.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, OneNote, and other relevant software.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and proactive with an innovative mindset.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-driven with proven project management capabilities.
  • Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation is advantageous.
