Job Title: Director of Exchange Traded Funds

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director of Exchange Traded Funds. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and launching our new ETF service model, overseeing the development and continuous improvement of the ETFs' end-to-end service model, and participating in the day-to-day operations of National Bank's ETF Services.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop and launch our new ETF service model, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the development and continuous improvement of the ETFs' end-to-end service model, working closely with technology infrastructure experts to ensure seamless integration.
  • Participate in the day-to-day operations of National Bank's ETF Services, providing guidance and support to team members as needed.
  • Facilitate inter-organizational communication with multiple lines of business to accurately determine risk issues in real-time.
  • Explain and challenge business issues, as appropriate, to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
  • Ensure that all controls are performed diligently, completed, and signed in a timely manner.
  • Support ongoing customer service and provide guidance on best practices to ensure exceptional client experiences.
  • Lead and oversee the management of vendor relationships and external partnerships, providing guidelines for execution and ensuring compliance with all agreements.
Your Team:

You will be part of a collaborative and professional environment, working closely with most teams located in Montreal. As a key member of our team, you will interact with the Bank's various partners and other external organizations across Canada.

Requirements:
  • Master's or bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field, with 7-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in the asset management or servicing industry, ideally in the back office or middle office.
  • Experience in managing supplier relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge of ETF servicing and a passion for managing end-to-end processes.
  • Industry accreditations are an asset.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry, including product solutions, the mutual fund industry, and distribution channels, industry regulation, and regulatory environment.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong ability to multitask and prioritize.
