Job Title: Director of Exchange Traded Funds

As a Director of Exchange Traded Funds at National Bank, you will play a key role in the development and launch of our new ETF service model. You will oversee the end-to-end service model, collaborate with technology infrastructure experts, and participate in day-to-day operations.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop and launch our new ETF service model
  • Oversee the end-to-end service model, ensuring its continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with technology infrastructure experts to ensure seamless operations
  • Facilitate inter-organizational communication to identify risk issues in real-time
  • Explain and challenge business issues as appropriate
  • Ensure all controls are performed diligently and completed in a timely manner
  • Support ongoing customer service and provide guidance on best practices
  • Lead and oversee vendor relationships and external partnerships
Your Team:

You will work in a collaborative and professional environment with most of the teams located in Montreal. You will interact with the Bank's various partners and other external organizations across Canada.

Requirements:
  • Master's or bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field
  • Between 7 and 10 years of experience relevant to the role
  • Experience in the asset management or servicing industry, ideally in the back office or middle office
  • Experience in managing supplier relationships
  • In-depth knowledge of ETF servicing and passion for managing end-to-end processes
  • Industry accreditations are an asset
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry, including product solutions, the mutual fund industry, and distribution channels
  • Demonstrated project management skills with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong ability to multitask and prioritize
