Senior Systems Designer, Security and Healthcare Technology Expert

About this role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect Systems Designer to join our Security and Healthcare Technology division. This team is responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining electronic systems in various healthcare settings.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, install, and maintain various electronic systems, including Nurse Call, RTLS, Audio, Video, Paging, Intercom, Security/Access Control, Telecommunication, and Video Surveillance.
- Provide technical expertise and mentor junior team members to assist with technical difficulties or issues.
- Inspect potential project sites and provide accurate estimations of required equipment and time.
- Maintain and complete accurate as-builts and system documentation for projects.
- Train end users on the operation of provided systems.
- Develop and implement solutions to resolve interfacing or intercommunication problems between disparate systems.
- Commission and configure hardware and software for deployment/installation.
Your Experience and Skills
- Recognized training in more than one relevant security/healthcare system and products.
- Certification in more than one of the following platforms: Genetec, Kantech, Lenel, Milestone, Ascom Telligence, GuardRFID, or Sonitor.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience working in a similar role, with strong technical expertise in related systems.
- Experience in large build projects, including P3 Hospitals.
- Experience with integration and middleware engines in the security/healthcare product space.
- Familiarity with SNMP, BACNET IP, MODBUS, and other platform-agnostic messaging protocols.
- Knowledge of various programming and computer languages, including C#, Python, and T-SQL.
- Knowledge of web-based technologies, protocols, and languages/mechanisms, including API, REST, SOAP, HTTP/HTTPS, ISS, Web servers, JSON, XML, and SQL.
- Knowledge of various networking protocols and technologies.
- Ability to work in various government institutions and willingness to travel and work in other regions for short periods.
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, plus a competitive total compensation package.
This role requires a strong technical background and experience in designing, installing, and maintaining electronic systems in healthcare settings.
