Egis Surveying Inc, a leading provider of professional survey services, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Survey Assistant to join our team. As a Field Survey Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our experienced professional surveyors and technical staff in delivering high-quality survey projects to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Field Supervisor with data preparation, in-field calculations, and data downloads
  • Operate and maintain all types of survey equipment, including GPS, total station, and level
  • Complete daily vehicle inspection sheets and ensure all equipment is in good working order
  • Adhere to all company Health and Safety policies and regulations
Requirements:
  • Completion of college diploma in survey technology or civil engineering technology
  • Strong mathematical skills and excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to work in a rugged environment in all types of weather and physically capable of carrying survey equipment and materials
  • Experience with land surveying and survey equipment is an asset
  • Must be willing to travel out of town within Ontario and possess a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle with valid registration and insurance
