Job Summary

KAASHI RESTAURANT INC is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our restaurant operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff: Lead and direct the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to our food service staff, helping them to develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their roles.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet the demands of our customers.
  • Maintain Quality Control Standards: Ensure that our food and service meet the highest quality control standards, consistently delivering exceptional results.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns, resolving issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Keep accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights to inform our business decisions.
  • Prepare and Submit Reports: Prepare and submit regular reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Supervision: 1 to 2 people.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, combination of sitting, standing, walking, and attention to detail.
  • Experience: Will train, permanent position, 30 hours per week, English language.
