We address the whole person from early childhood to adulthood, providing multiservice organization delivering social, emotional, and behavioral counseling services, early childhood education, learning disabilities and mental health services, and family violence services.
Create a safe, healthy, supportive environment for children, staff, and families by ensuring program quality through pedagogical leadership and collaboration with other CDI Childcare Centre Directors and cross-functional mental health teams.
Analyze the Early Learning Centre's operations to ensure safety and financial viability, contributing to policy development, updates, and staff adherence.
Develop effective strategies to engage families and community partners by fostering positive relationships and facilitating communication.
Required skills include experience in an early learning/childcare setting, direct leadership of staff, programs, and communications; ability to sustain diverse learning environments supporting high program quality, equity, and inclusion; knowledge of CCEYA (2014), AQI, ELECT, HDLH Ontario's Pedagogy for the Early Years, and experience with the Licensing Process and AQI program assessment.
The technical skills required are proficiency with MS Office Suite and the Lillio (formerly HiMama) Child Care App and Dayforce.
This is a full-time position with flexible hours in a planned program environment.
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 annually.
