Early Learning Centre Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Director to lead our Wellesley Early Learning Centre team in providing exceptional care and education for young children.

• Oversee the day-to-day operation and administration of the ELC, fostering a joyful and safe learning environment for children.
• Nurture a diverse and inclusive community, inspiring and guiding staff to deliver high-quality programs.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and legislated standards, while maintaining a strong focus on quality and excellence.

• Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, with an Early Childhood Management-Leadership certificate as an asset.
• Member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Education.
• Proven ability to provide and sustain a diverse learning environment that supports program quality, equity, and inclusion.
• In-depth understanding of early child development and pedagogy, including knowledge of CCEYA (2014), AQI, ELECT, HDLH Ontario's Pedagogy for the Early Years, and experience with the Licensing Process and AQI program assessment.

• A competitive salary of $85,000-$100,000 per year, depending on experience.
