Installation Technician

We are seeking a skilled Installation Technician to join our team at 2720455 Ontario Inc. as a Hardware Specialist.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware and software systems. This includes setting up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
Key Responsibilities:- Install and configure computer hardware and software systems
- Set up equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software
- Provide technical support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems
- Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions
- Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts
- Participate in the redesign of applications and other software
- Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Work in a office building environment
- May be required to stand for extended periods
- May be required to handle heavy loads
