Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Installation Technician to join our team at 2720455 Ontario Inc. as a Hardware Installation Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining computer systems and networks, providing technical support to users, and collaborating with our team to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance
    • Install and configure computer systems, networks, and hardware
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance
  • Technical Support
    • Provide technical assistance to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems and networks
    • Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with our team to identify and resolve technical issues
    • Communicate effectively with users to understand their needs and provide timely support
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Skills
    • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and hardware
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a regular schedule of 32 to 40 hours per week. Public transportation is available. The work environment is a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with occasional heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
