We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our Patrol Team at Webber Infrastructure Management Canada Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our roadway assets, ensuring that our infrastructure is safe and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Provide guidance and direction to junior staff members, ensuring that they are equipped to perform their duties effectively and safely.
- Maintenance Operations: Oversee the maintenance and repair of roadway assets, including roads, bridges, and other infrastructure.
- Contract Management: Manage contracts with external vendors and contractors, ensuring that work is completed to a high standard and within budget.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of maintenance activities, including equipment usage and material consumption.
- Communication: Liaise with stakeholders, including property owners, the general public, and other government agencies, to ensure that our maintenance activities are coordinated and effective.
- Education: High School Diploma (Required)
- Experience: Minimum three (3) years' experience in construction, road maintenance, commercial/industry repair, maintenance or landscaping (outdoor work) (Preferred)
- Skills: Working knowledge of summer and winter maintenance operations and the Occupational Health and Safety Act as it relates to maintenance activities. Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of programs. Good verbal communication skills, effective written communication skills to prepare reports, recommendations and rationale statements.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to outside weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold. The noise level in the work environment will be moderate, but may occasionally be higher.
