NYDIG is looking for a full-time Data Center Technician to join our team.

**Accountabilities**:
Day-to-day:

- Monitoring cryptocurrency mining operations
- Basic configurations, and environment maintenance.
- Regular sweeps of the location monitoring all hardware
- Constantly looking for proactive maintenance.
- Monitoring Thresholds, cameras, network, security, environmental alarms
- Man emergency phone while on shift
- Ensuring the location is in a clean and working state.
- Miner, switches, firewalls installations/configurations.
- Keeping an eye on the location for any issues that need to be reported
- Repairs to machines that are down or in need of maintenance
- Reporting back to the head office on all issues and tasks daily

**Qualifications**:

- Comfortable working at heights when needed.
- Reliable form of transportation to and from work
- Competency working in and around electronics.
- Fluency in MS Office & Tools
- Basic level experience in IT an asset.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to lift 20-30lbs regularly
- Organizational Skills and ability to keep a clean working environment
- _BONUS Qualifications:_
- Board Soldering and chip replacement competency
- Post Secondary education in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering an asset but not required.
- Ability to diagnose, repair, and test circuit boards.
- Largely Comparable to laptop repair
- Scissor Lift / Working at heights operators certification_
- Electrical safety and arc flash awareness training_
- Forklift operators certification_
- Crane Operators certification_

Pay: $42,000.00 per year
