About the Role:

The Township of Muskoka Lakes is seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Planning Department as a Planning Clerk. This full-time temporary position will provide clerical, administrative support and customer service to various sections of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide word processing assistance, maintain electronic mail logs, and perform data entry tasks
  • Maintain accurate filing systems, receive applications, and enter cases into databases
  • Circulate case information, update databases, and handle cash transactions with accuracy and attention to detail

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent plus a certificate in office administration
  • Experience or training in standard computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and electronic mail
  • Experience working in a customer service capacity, preferably in a planning department environment
  • Ability to multitask, work accurately, and maintain attention to detail
