Job Title: Product Development Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Engineer to join our team at Peak Products Manufacturing. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and bringing industry-leading products to market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop new products, as well as improve existing ones, by applying advanced engineering principles and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and execute test protocols to drive product improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Produce comprehensive technical documentation and manuals to support product development and manufacturing.
  • Source factories and set up production of our products and raw materials in various countries, ensuring quality control and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Drive product and process improvement efforts, exploring cost-effective materials and design simplifications.
  • Provide review, feedback, and mentorship to junior engineers.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in product development and project management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation preferred.
  • Highly proficient in SolidWorks and/or CAD engineering software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to travel internationally as required.
