Job Title: Product Development Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Engineer to join our team at Peak Products Manufacturing. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and launching innovative products that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new products and improve existing ones to meet customer needs and market trends
  • Apply advanced engineering principles to optimize product design, quality, and safety
  • Develop and execute test protocols to drive product improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Produce comprehensive technical documentation and manuals to ensure compliance with standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product and process improvement efforts
  • Source factories and set up production of products and raw materials in various countries, ensuring quality control
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including building codes and environmental standards
  • Drive product and process improvement efforts, exploring cost-effective materials and design simplifications
  • Provide review, feedback, and mentorship to junior engineers

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in product development and project management
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation preferred
  • Highly proficient in SolidWorks and/or CAD engineering software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel internationally as required
