About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Engineer to join our team at Peak Products Manufacturing. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and launching industry-leading products that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Design and Development: Design and develop new products and improve existing ones to meet customer needs and market trends.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of products.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products meet quality and safety standards, and that all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and manufacturing, to ensure that products meet customer needs and market trends.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in product development and project management.
  • Skills: Proficient in SolidWorks and/or CAD engineering software, experienced with Microsoft Office suite, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional Certification: Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation preferred.
