At The Peak Group of Companies, we're seeking a highly skilled Product Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative products that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop new products, as well as improve existing ones, to meet customer needs and market trends.
- Apply advanced engineering principles to optimize product design, ensuring quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and execute test protocols to drive product improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Produce comprehensive technical documentation and manuals to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product and process improvement efforts, exploring cost-effective materials and design simplifications.
- Provide review, feedback, and mentorship to junior engineers to ensure their growth and development.
- 10+ years of experience in product development and project management.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation preferred.
- Highly proficient in SolidWorks and/or CAD engineering software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and willingness to travel internationally as required.
