Product Development Engineer

At The Peak Group of Companies, we're seeking a highly skilled Product Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative products that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop new products and improve existing ones to meet customer needs and market trends.
  • Apply advanced engineering principles to optimize product design, ensuring quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and execute test protocols to drive product improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Produce comprehensive technical documentation and manuals to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product and process improvement efforts.
  • Source factories and set up production of our products and raw materials, ensuring quality control and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including building codes and environmental standards.
  • Drive product and process improvement efforts, exploring cost-effective materials and design simplifications.
  • Provide review, feedback, and mentorship to junior engineers.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in product development and project management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation preferred.
  • Highly proficient in SolidWorks and/or CAD engineering software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel internationally as required.
