Pre-Board Screening Officer Job Description

At Paladin Airport Security Services, we are committed to providing exceptional customer service and upholding the safety of passengers. As a Pre-Board Screening Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security of our airport and its passengers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Screen passengers and baggage through airport security checkpoints efficiently and effectively
  • Provide professional and courteous information to passengers
  • Confirm valid boarding passes and scan baggage for prohibited items
  • Protect restricted areas and manage conflict situations
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with passengers and colleagues
  • Uphold all regulations and guidelines with vigilance
Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service skills, preferably in a high-volume environment
  • Open availability to work any shift, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal; fluency in French is an asset
  • Ability to comply with CATSA medical requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

If you are successful in the application process, you will be required to apply for a Transport Security Clearance (TSC), which requires an extensive background check. Once obtained, you will be eligible to begin the Screening Officer Foundations (SOF) course.
